Status report - COVID -19

In the new year as well, we would like to keep you updated on the state of affairs at Bänninger.

In the current situation, our highest priority remains the preservation of health and safety. A large part of our team continues to work from home. However, for your convenience, our staff can still be reached at their usual telephone numbers.

In order to ensure a timely processing of customer orders, we have implemented a 4-shift production schedule. Bänninger has taken additional protective measures for employees who continue to work on site at the company. . Every employee must have a minimum of 10 square meters working space in order to avoid unnecessary close contact. In addition to medical masks, all employees are now being given Corona contact tracers. With Corona tracers persons who have had contact with infected employees within the company can be quickly and easily identified. The tracers are worn uncovered on the upper body of persons for the duration of their stay in the company. The devices work via Bluetooth and have a transmission range of approximately 2.5 meters. If the persons enter into this radius, the device automatically transmits signals every 10 seconds. Based on the frequency of the signals of two tracers, encounters in which the minimal safety distance was violated can be identified. This makes it possible to subsequently pinpoint persons who have had contact with infected employees and to trace infection chains. As soon as the device is taken off after working hours, it automatically switches into idle mode.

You can find more information on the Corona tracers here:
