Bänninger has relied on apprenticing our own personnel in traditional recognized skilled vocations since the foundation of our firm. This applies both to the technical and commercial departments at the company. The Head of Training in Commercial Vocations is Mrs. Tanja Muenn.
The Head of Training for Technical Vocations at Bänninger is Mr. Ingo Schleher, who, among other things, has been a member of the Examination Committee of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for more than 20 years. To provide support for apprenticing activities, two additional staff members have undergone advanced training to qualify as instructors in the fields of process technology and electronics.
The heart of technical apprenticeships at our enterprise is the tool shop, where everything comes together.
It is here that future apprentices are recruited. That means that high-school student internships take place all year here, interviews are held here and the fundamentals for all technical vocations are taught here.
Training courses in control technology and CNC programming are also carried out here. And last but not least, this is where the apprentices are prepared for examinations and support for scholastic questions is given.
In order to recruit high-school students for the company, Bänninger holds presentations at local schools and will be an exhibitor at this year’s „Chance“ job far in Giessen Germany.

Furthermore, Bänninger pursues trainees for high-qualification positions by offering openings for combined work-study programs.Our partner here is the Central Hessian University of Applied Sciences.
An outstanding example for the solid and successful apprenticeship at Bänninger is Ahmad Moradi, a recent graduate of our apprenticeship program. Ahmad Moradi originally comes from Afghanistan and has been living in Germany since the end of 2012. Bänninger has provided the best possible support in his training as a tool mechanic for moulding technology. We are very pleased to congratulate him on his final grade of „very good”.
As a rule, some 10% of Bänninger’s staff consists of personnel undergoing some stage an apprenticeship in various vocations. Generally, all of them are hired as permanent employees upon passing their final examinations. After completion of the apprenticeship, Bänninger continues to offer internal and external courses as well as the opportunity for advanced training. Examples for this are technical staff working in industrial electronics and tool making that continue their education to qualify as a shop foreman or master technicians.
